The selected statue for the Congress is the “Oil Lamp”. This statue symbolizes Iran energy history and its application in the past centuries and it can be seen as a shared symbol of the concept of the “Oil” and the “Energy”, according to its history. The selected oil lamp used for the 2nd Congress was chosen based on an ancient oil lamp, discovered around the “Ferdowsi’s Tomb”, dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries A.H in Nishapur and Tous. The simulation of the congress statue was carried out according to the real model which had been made of earthenware with glazed cover. The statue base is made of a marble stone with a thickness of 1.5 centimeters. A small directory has been also provided as a notebook containing the history of the statue in both Persian and English languages, in a wooden reticular designed box on which the Congress name (IPEC 2016) has been carved.
The customized statue has been ordered for the Congress in a certain and limited number.
